Brushing Up on Our First Aid & CPR Training

Our Somerset vets recently participated in an extensive first aid and CPR training day alongside other Massachusetts and New Hampshire veterinary teams.

Our staff at Spinnaker Veterinary Clinic, along with those from Animal Medical Center of New EnglandNew England Animal Hospital and Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital, attended a CPR and first aid class instructed by Tom Rinelli of Paws N Claws 911.

Mr. Rinelli is a 30-year veteran of pre-hospital emergency medical services in human medicine. An avid dog lover, he took his education, training, and field experience and became a certified trainer for animal CPR and first aid. He started Paws N Claws 911 over 10 years ago and continues to be dedicated to the care of animals.

The course training focused on hands-on skills practice, learning CPR, muzzling, wound care and other basic first aid skills. Tom even showed everyone how to perform first aid with basic items you have around the home and in clinics.

Congrats to everyone who completed the course and received their certificate, and thank you, Tom Rinelli!
